Why we started
Polish got cheap
Agencies, publishers and creators are still mostly hired through referrals and case studies they wrote themselves. Anyone can make a convincing deck now, so a polished claim says less and less.
Lists stopped meaning much
Directories were meant to fix that. Too often they rank whoever pays, call a credit check “verification” and let a badge live for ever. Good providers learned that being good wasn’t enough to be seen.
So we check the work
We ask for evidence, a person checks it, and the result is a public record with dates on it. When the evidence stops holding, the mark goes. That is what makes it worth having.
Early days, on purpose
We’re verifying our first providers now, one by one. As they pass, they appear here and in the directory, each with a record you can open. No borrowed logos, no invented reviews.
How we work
- Claims are checked against evidence, and we say what we did not check.
- A person makes every decision about whether a business is verified.
- Records are public and dated, they expire, and they are withdrawn if standards slip.
- We show no testimonials, logos or numbers we cannot back up.
How we make money
- Free for businesses, and free for providers to list and answer briefs.
- Verification comes with the Pro plan: $20 a year for one person, $249 for a team of up to 5 people or $449 for 6 or more, refunded if we don’t approve.
- Sponsored places, always marked "Sponsored", and Enterprise offers for groups.
- Researched shortlists, with a fixed fee agreed before any work starts.
A proposal may also include a variable fee per agreed event, for example each source you accept. It applies only when the proposal shows it and you accept it, and the proposal says exactly what counts, for how long, how it is invoiced and how a disputed event is settled.
